A naked sketch of a future sprite of Bakri for Sour Candy. A work of German engineering! (Bakri is German in the modern AU I'm working off here). Appropriate, since that's how Bakri sees his own body. While Parisa would prefer to escape hers, he sees his own body as a tool that has long since stopped working well. He can brutalize it into doing what he wants through weightlifting and fighting, but he never stops being sick. He doesn't really punish himself--a waste of time--but he's not careful with himself either. Efficient. He doesn't eat enough, as his entire family points out. There's a sense of long-fermented resentment over being sickly and unathletic as a child manifesting in this new, more capable body. A Greek statue with infection boiling inside. Lithomyelitis? Petromyelitis sounds better.
Drawing Bakri has been way easier after making progress on T. We're both quite hairy--all my characters are--with semi-similar textures. To draw him, all I need to do is look at myself. The muscle is a little harder. Especially the muscles that wrap around the sides of the torso and hips. I fear I gave him lats too large, but I'm going for Dorito, so whatever. I added more musculature to his legs than usual, but they're more slender than pictured--I just wanted to work on showing the adductors correctly.
A naked sketch of a future sprite of Parisa for Sour Candy. Drawing Parisa was a new challenge because my other two characters are fat and muscular. She is neither. You could even consider each of the trio as a study in fat, muscle and bone. Bottom-heavy, top-heavy, balanced. Bones are surprisingly complex, especially around the shoulder area, which is full of bumps from various sources.
I wanted Parisa to look somewhat wasted, as if her body dried up while she wasn't looking. Although people at all states of health can have any "look," her thinness is explicitly related to her relationship with her body, which is stunlocked. I included this because I like when a character's choices show in their body, and also because I wanted to express the idea that destroying one's own body is a right. Parisa copes with dysphoria, isolation, and anxiety through opiates, which make her forget to eat. Making herself small is an old tactic for her. She manages her copious and intense emotions by destroying herself discretely.
A naked sketch of a future sprite of Theo for Sour Candy. Theo has the best relationship with her body out of all three, but that doesn't make it perfect. It's her biggest betrayer and ally. Her body is remarkably healthy and heals fast.
I like drawing my characters naked first, both for enjoyment and to make sure clothes aren't hiding any anatomy flaws. I'm a stickler for anatomy, although I'm weak at proportion and perspective. Huge shoutout to Morpho Fat and Skin folds--probably my most used art book.
An erotic image of Theo and Parisa posing together. Great way to ring in 2025. I love how you can tell whose idea the photo was. The colors were super fun and high-contrast. My girlfriend said she "wanted to suck the one on the left's cock." Same! Although I'm equally drawn to both of my girls. I liked conveying their personalities here--Theo with her colon-three smile, holding Parisa's foot as if to tickle it, what she cheerfully calls her chode unobscured. Parisa with a hand out in a limp ta-da, a subtle quirk of the lips, head tilted down, her penis half-covered by Theo's thigh. Embarrassed, slightly enjoying herself but not ready to fully commit.
